Electric C Zero

Post by Six-cylinder »

This week I have been to the ecovelocity show in Battersea to drive some electric cars around their 0.8km test track, I liked this Mia from France, shame it was a very poor drive compared with the Citroen C zero, Renault Kangoo and Nissan Leaf and it still cost £22k. The C zero and Kangoo van showed me that driving an electric car is just fine but the price and short range will stop me for now.

I also liked the wrap on this DS 4.

Why is it that the designers of electric cars always make them look like they are electric cars as in weird and unattractive?

Hmm, not too sure about the chrome wrap, I've seen a Mclaren and a Maybach with chrome finish and to me they look totally chav.

I too have seen a McMerc and Maybach with a chrome wrap and didn't like them. I don wonder how safe they are too, especially at night it must be quite odd, like a mirror.

Hopefully electric cars are not the thing of the future, they are very limited in their usability. Hydrogen is the way forward. The CZero looks ok but it has been around for a few years as a Mitsubishi 'I'.

I'd have thought "totally chav" would be Burberry wrap with highlights in ½K gold foil, complete with snotty green oxidisation?
