56MPH! :o I bet that was a painful journey...the trouble with hire trucks!

Sounds like a great truck, and also perfect for 'dead' flat Citroen's too.
Yesterday saw us putting dead CXs onto our truck (one's that hadn't turned a wheel in 26 years!!) - it's possible with careful application of wood under the wheels...

XM ready for the CX, XM and Xantia Rally then Jim...

For next year's certainly Franklin. No way for this year. I'll be doing a full restoration on it. She's a good base but needs plenty doing to get her really good.

Maybe she'll be ready for next year's Wetherby. Depends on my workload and the kindness of the winter really...

Sorry to hear the box died all together on the last few feet Jim.

At least it got unloaded and loaded under it's own steam which makes it half the battle.

Both our days went without a hitch luckily!

On the way down to Wetherby we were getting 22.5mpg, on the way home with our return load though we were getting 16mpg so I reckon the dumper weighs a fair bit more then the XM!

Look forward to seeing your progress with it Jim.

Regards

David.
