Fleabay Question

Post by addo »

No dispute etc, just looking for a "How to" as I've not encountered this situation before...

I bought a remanned PSA steering rack, paid £56 via PP. It was supposed to go by courier to jgra1 but after a couple of days the seller messaged me through Ebay to say the item was damaged and they were refunding me 100% through PP.

In due course I received an email from PP saying they had refunded the amount - it's yet to be credited anywhere though. (Short term financial markets, anyone? )

My question is not about the money; I'm sure it will be fine. What I want to know, is how the item is removed from my purchasing history so it doesn't remain forever as needing feedback. Basically just a housekeeping kind of question.

Thanks, Adam.

On the few tmes I've had an item fully refunded I've just left it there and after a while it just drops off your current summary.

In other words, don't worry!

Leave positive feedback, something like:
Item was damaged before posting, seller contacted me and gave immediate refund.

I'd wondered about something like that.

In truth I'd still take the item - a rebuilt rack with new axial joints, new boots and complete with ram is easily worth the asking.

Contact the seller, they can request that the sale be cancelled and then it should drop off.
