hi you will be very lucky to get anywere near your asking price for this 2CV,

as they only usualy go to about £500 with no MOT or TAX at the very most,

this one will almost certainly have a bent chassis were the suspension has gone back,

and he replied

He is a nice guy to deal with then

Its very steeply priced, it doesnt even look in the best condition to start off with, let alone having all of that accident damage to repair, thats if it will repair.

Obviously one to avoid!

with that suspension arm bent like that bit will almost certainly have bent the chassis as well,

a while back we were scouring the internet for a dersh to fix up for her indoors,

most of the non MOTed ones were going for around the £500 quid mark,

so i dont think that is worth much as it is probaly just a spare's car only,

Poor little thing looks so sad.. It really needs a loving home...

Right price and it'll be lovely but I agree, just a tad OTT on the old price thing...

On the other hand, the oh so cultured and polite 'gentleman' might have a point:-

'By the end of Sotheby's pioneering two-day auction of new Damien Hirst works only one thing was incontrovertibly clear the artist has enjoyed a spectacular triumph.

Against a backdrop of carnage in the global financial markets Hirst walked away with £95.7 million last night for two years' worth of pickled animals, spot paintings, dead butterfly collages and stubbed-out cigarettes'....

There is, as they say, one born every minute..

I've seen numerous cars that he has had for sale over the last couple of years ranging from Aston Martins to C5's, Xantia's etc.

He had a brand new 406 shell with 16 miles on it. Needed an engine as it was bought by a testing company for the 2.2 HDi and removed from it the day they got it back to the factory.

He wanted over £2k for an engineless shell with a fairly basic spec!

Everything he's got is stupidly priced.

I think it's him that's failing to earn any money in life with prices like that!
