Citroen Quote of the Week/Month.

Post by handyman »

I like Deans idea of quote of the week or month and would like to nominate Martin's (Pleaides) as the first. Gets my vote.

Martin wrote "If you look inside the main accumulator you can see the diaphragm up against the neck, it looks like a cats arse, that is what you are probing with the wire."

If you went anywhere near our cats backends with a piece of wire, you'd come off the loser, and bloodied to boot.

I larfed so much I fell off the chair.

Nice one, Martin.

Steve, there has to be a time and a place for a little humour, even in Citroenland. :P :P

Do not know why Martin is embarassed, it still makes me laugh everytime I read it.

Chapeau, Martin! =D> =D>

You mean it's possible to survive Citroen ownership without a sense of humour??

This afternoon from my son Dillon (26 months), pointing forlornly in the garage at the Visa: "That car broken. Daddy fix it"

Well, maybe one day....!

Pleased to see you're bringing him up well Richard, to have an interest in cars..

At this rate he might fix the Visa before you do :D

Reminds me of a little boy and his dad who used to regularly pass my driveway and the little boy would regularly say to his dad as he saw me working away on many a poorly Xantia...

"look daddy, that man's car is broken!"

A few days later... "daddy! That man's car is still broken.."

The same thing went on for weeks and weeks, the little lad made the same comment with the occasional "daddy, why is that man's car still broken?" His dad stated to look faintly embarrassed...

Eventually, dad and son came over and we had a natter whereupon I explained it was not necessarily the same car that was continually broken and that it was my pastime...

We ended up all quite good friends and afterward the little boy used to say "Daddy! look, he's fixing a car again!"
