FCF Summer Tour?

FCF Summer Tour?
Just a quick thought as it was mentioned on my christmas drive thread.
Would anyone be interested in a tour of the Scottish Highland taking in some of the great roads, stunning scenery and of course, Citroens
I know it was mentioned and as I'm planning on reinstating the Activa to the road this year, its certainly something I've toyed with.

Yes! Meant to start a thread in fact, but was too lazy. Can I still come even though I don't have a Citroen?
I suggest Applecross, I've done this trip twice and it's aweomse. Maybe a stop in at Inverness on the way up, across to Applecross, then possibly a quick whip round Skye. Loads of other places we could stop by as well. We could meet up in Glasgow, possibly get a few pints there. Take the BBQ gear to Applecross and have an FCF 2011 BBQ.
I will recruit a co-pilot to take the 405. It will carry all the gear, BBQ etc. Other folk can chuck stuff in it as well. Need to get the bloody thing fixed right enough.
A view from Applecross Inn across to Skye. Best pint in the world

I was thinking Applecross and Skye.
That is a stunning view ally.
Sounds like you've been thinking about it already you seem to have it all planned out

All suggestions of course, I'm easy Once we get up past Fort William, I suspect we can't lose. Maybe we should start a list, and put on what time of the year is most suitable?

...I'd love the ultra-rare 80BHP early style dash, GT - IIRC, there's only two known to survive in the UK.Citroenmad wrote:You might need a Visa Jim, maybe a GT for those lovely Scottish roads
Here'sone.

Excellent.
Maybe people could give a preference for when they could do this?
Ally, you've done this before. Any chance of a rough route?

Great to see there's a bit of enthusiasm for this I will get a preliminary route and itinerary drawn up over the weekend and post it up for discussion.
Jim you don't need a Visa, Scotland isn't a foreign country, like Wales or something
