I have a near identical SX auto in green on an M plate with 68k miles that
needs to go too if anyone fancies it - near minter looking the business.
Guess I'll be watching for interest and valuation... :?

Me too, it would be a shame for the next owner to clock up lots of miles in it, because then it just becomes another high mileage old xantia.

Having said that, being a 2.0 petrol auto its not going to appeal to the high mileage driver.

I first read that as:
"Thats really cool, I hope its picked up by an atheist"

Would be perfect for my eldest daughter but she won't have a Xantia, looks like being a 206/306 or a Clio (or a Rover 20/45).

The 2.0i 8v auto in a Xant is a decent combo - my father adores his VSX
and prefers it to an Xm 2.1TD auto and an Xm manual 2.0i TCT.

Mind, it should have a seamless turbinelike drive as I fitted a brand new
autobox off a pallet from a Cit dealer in it. Gearchanges are so imperceptible
that I panicked that it wasn't changing gears when I first test-drove it!

haha! Good point, it is much more exciting than the Rover!

Yes, I'd love a sinker Xantia - and it's an AUTO!

I'll call a few people tomorrow and try and get a transport quote from Bath to Walsall. There's a nice warm dry garage just waiting for it.
