LHM sprung vehicles
Does anyone know why citroen haven't used Hydraulics in any of their heavier vehicles throughout the years, namely vans?
Just wondering as i always thought the physics of it meant the heavier the wieght carried by the system the better the ride was? also by experience of shoving over 200kg in the boot of an old Xantia non hydractive

Cross manufacturing with Fiat/Peugeot to keep costs down I would imagine.

JCB V6 Activa anyone?
DOperators can choose from four suspension modes: maintenance and transport mode lowers the suspension fully; excavator mode lowers and fixes the rear axle and allows front axle to float, mimicking a backhoe; shovel mode does the reverse, simulating a wheel loader; and travel mode to achieve high road speeds.

Just a cost things then really.. Dam Pug bean counters!
Does anyone think there would be a real advantage to having this on say a Ducato sized vehicle other than dropping to the floor and rising up again and riding over speed bumps with much greater poise than current vehicles? Even ones with airbags for the rear suspension?

This would've been a good one: A BX-based MPV and contemporary to the Espace...
No looker though

Yup and Peugeot weren't interested so he went to Renault and they built the Espace.
