Neither is particularly well done; shame really.

As Adam says, the black one could've been OK - shame it wasn't better
sorted in the detail with the top of the rear doors and handle areas.
Wonder if the car was damaged and then converted or just angleground to
pieces from a good original car for the sake of a pick-up. Guess this will
happen with these cars being so cheap and disposable. :(

As for the first one...

:yikes: :puke: :sprint:

what kind of disturbed mind comes up with this sh!t!?

I think there's another one, which you might find in the same photostream. IIRC that one was BX based.

First pictures: WTF    That's really obscene. I'm disgusted.

I rather like the idea of a Xantia Ute. Just a shame it was not well done...

Jolly handy for moving lots of spares around, especially engines and gearboxes...

 Too true!

What boggles the mind too is where the battery and ECU boxes at the front
corners have been relocated to even allowing for the far higher scuttle and
bonnet line and extended 'nose'. What a thing to do to an R plated Athena
estate TD... :(

As a piece of down the road graphic and drama I actually quite like it
and the finishing is a lot better than THAT Xantia estate...

You'd stop and gawp if this was driving along - who wouldn't? :D

It's got me thinking what weight of fibreglass is on that last one, versus what size motor!

Don't fancy its chances at Santa Pod.

That modified Xantia estate is hideous, who would ever think of doing that?!

The pick up could have looked quite tidy, had it of been done well.

Though the BX looks rather interesting, well done and very different. A bit ungainly looking but a clever conversion. I bet it does get a lot of attention.
