I must remember that. That sounds absolutely fantastic!

This what you got Chris? There is a silver version too.

Andrew
That is the one i have yes, its very very good, lots of detail, perfect shape, it even has the second back window if you look closely!

Like those wheel trims too, dont think any UK cars came with those fitted though.

Toby and anyone else, I have an MP3 file of Just Jane, the Lancaster, starting and running all four engines, recorded at the time with me standing under the port wingtip.

Anyone want a copy, PM me with your e-mail address.

Toby, Dave, I think this may interest you and few others into avaiation, In November 2007 I had a wonderful opportunity to fly with 101 Squadron out of Brize Norton on a refuelling mission over middle France where we refuelled a range of Mirages (Army and Navy) and another one called Etendar's (I think) .

anyway enjoy, but apologise for the picture quality they were take with a 2 megapixal camera  .

Seriously guys, get a wider discussion going about aircraft as many fellow
enthusiasts on the forum may not bother with diecast but love this new OT
thread!! As Citroen fans it's perfectly natural to be interested in masterpieces
in engineering and likely many will share similar interests - this is very
interesting and deserves the full audience participation!

I adore the Harrier as it literally blew me away as a nipper at a show and my
pops is always going on about the Vulcan bomber as it made a big impression
on him on National Service...

Dave you have PM :D

Some great pictures there Trainman.

I agree with your comment on the Harrier Andrew. Never ceases to amaze me that it can hover on just 4 columns of expelled gas. And how quickly it sheds speed whilst performing VIFF.

Seriously I could go on all day about aircraft :D
