Found this article this morning for a new Pug concept car the SR1, its a hybrid, but don't let that put your off though on paper it seems great.

Preempting some of the comments from our resident DERV heads, no it would not be better with a diesel

Looks like an Aston but like most good concept cars it will never be made, or they will seriously water it down to something that's boring and stick one of those "sexy" trademark mouths on the front it's a shame nobody has the balls to actually make something that stands out!
Cars owned: 1996 (P) Peugeot 306 XNd, 1992 (K) Citroen ZX "Wedge" 1.9D Avantage, 1992 (K) Citroen BX TXD Turbo disaster edition, 1995 (M) Peugeot 306 XRdt, 1992/1993 (N!) Citroen BX TZD Turbo, 3 VWs.
I totally agree; the me too design is currently flogging the Audi TT conceptTourist wrote:Looks like an Aston but like most good concept cars it will never be made,

car's big arches and the "Kinetic" design by Ford and BangleMW.
It now takes a badge the size of a football to actually stamp any kind of brand
identity on them all. Have you noticed how the badges have got bigger by the
generations of redesign and if you covered any car badge over you'd likely be
lost to actually name the brand. Credit to Citroen to have the balls to actually
make the C6:
oops - nobody noticed that huuuuuge picture did they? Sorry. Averages out with the small one though, right?
Their last design Hurrah or the start of good things?

Funny you should mention the Audi TT andmcit, because Peugeot also have one of those in concept form the RCZ coupe
Here it is.

I'm personally not a TT fan, nor an Audi fan for that matter. I agree there is a tenancy for cars to look similar these days, I think its something to do with crash safety for pedestrians.
If Peugeot actually made the SR1 as seen here, I'd defiantly be in the queue for one
