You can disable the lights IIRC by pressing and holding the end of the indicator stalk, the procedure is in the handbook. You can't disable the wipers, but having said that it may be possible with a Lexia.

The auto wipers are only auto when the switch is in auto mode. I don't know why you would want to disable it but putting the switch into any of the other positions does that, you just don't get intermittent.

The auto lights (if they work the same as my 807) are disabled by pressing and holding the button on the end of the lights stalk, with the ignition on but without the engine running (if that doesn't work try with the ignition in accessory position).

The auto wipers on my C5 used to really wind me up. Sometimes they were extremely slow to initiate a sweep of the screen and at others they would flail away when the screen was almost dry. I disabled it with my Lexia and I would imagine it coould be done on the Berlingo as well.

It was one of the best things I changed ans a simple internittant position is far superior!

I had them on the Xantia and they were superb, very rarely wiping when they shouldn't or not wiping when the were needed.

The ones on the 807 are not quite as good, sometimes give a wipe when there's nothing there, I put this down to the sensor being at the bottom of the screen and getting drips flying up off the wiper arms/bonnet.

The worst ones I've experienced were on the work's 206, their operation didn't have any connection to the amount of water on the screen.

What really frustrates me now is getting into a car where I have to keep turning the wipers (and lights) on and off.
