CCC Midland Rally

Post by vince »

Guys, it seems the only way i will be able to afford to attend the CCC Midland Rally will be if i come down and set up a GSF stall :)

So pending any unforseen problems (such as SWMBO having other plans for me that weekend) i am planning to attend on Sunday 30th August.

I am currently planning to bring down the following but am very interested in any suggestions you also have. I cant bring everything down of course but will be able to bring any pre ordered items and take orders for processing the following week.

Current planned stock list:
- "Boxed" complete service kits for popular model vehicles, Xantia diesel / petrol, XM diesel / Petrol
- Various filters for CX's, DS's and 2CV's
- Ignition components for Ami's / 2CV's / DS's
- Spheres to suit all tastes
- Various seals
- Anti Sink valves
- Perhaps my Xantia height corrector
- Lamps (New ones)
- Perhaps a set of new 2CV wheels?
- Whatever Activa stuff i can get hold of
- Oils
- Hydraflush
- LHM

Anything else i can fit into the van....

Of course all items will be "show price" which will be cheaper than GSF retail, and i will also bring down any pre ordered stuff

I will keep you posted as to if i will be attending in this capacity (i hope so)

Danielle and I are going, probably in Cassy this time for fuel costs as my contract runs out next friday (*sniff*), and also as I'll be bringing any parts from the LX that people want.
We're staying up there Friday and Saturday nights in a cheap but romantic hotel (she's great at finding bargains).

Take both Jim :D
I'll be going for a whole weekend, last rally of the year for me as I won't be able to attend the CXM next month due to a vintage rally where I'll be showing off my Roadless tractor :D :D

Hmm, a new member, is that a good excuse for me to bring up another costco cake (also for those who missed out at the Godmanchester CCC celebration of Jim's birthday)?
