If I had the choice, new look Scenic all the way, gearstick on the dash, great fun to drive.

They do drive quite nicely yeah, nice touches like the electric handbrake which comes off as you release the clutch, loads of cubby holes, they are well equiped, very safe (5 Star) and they are now very good value for money.

However, they are not without their reliability issues, the 1.5DCi has can have problems with the fuel pump, which ruins the engine. The 1.9DCI can have turbo failure, injector issues and gearbox selection issues. They are very poorly made and things stop working (like the windows).

We had a new shape 1.9DCi Scenic, it was often at the dealers for various things. Ill spare the list of issues we had!

Its a shame as Renault do make very nice cars, they just dont make them very well :?

Your better off with a Citroen :D
