Silverstone Classic 2008

Post by Xaccers »

Spent the best part of the day wandering around taking photos of so many cars.
Amongst the 'rarries, DBs and mercs, there were quite a few Citroens :)
Spotted some SMs, a 2CV, a CX and a GS "Rally" car which seemed to be going for highests fuel economy rather than quickest time...

Currently uploading, there's about 130 in total, and a treat for Hurricane fans.

The SM's look great, but then we spotted a Renault Alpine A310, and well, if it came with a XUD9TE I'd buy one :)

There was also a kit car Lotus 7 with a 1.8L Ford Zetec engine that between 60 and 70mph could return 45mpg.
Now imagine how economical and fun that'd be with a 1.9TD and a tank full of veg oil :D
1.9TD+ SX Xantia Estate (Cassy) running on 100% veg
1.9TD SX Xantia Hatchback (Jenny) running on 100% veg for sale
Laguna II 2.0dCi Privilege (Monty)
