Hi all.Been to Venice & Lake Garda in Italy for the last few weeks with our new caravan.2289 miles in all through France,Switerland,Gottard tunnel then into Italy.Averaged 30.9 mpg overall.Apart from a bit of clutch slip sometimes up hill in 5th gear,& a small spot of the temp gauge going off the clock,a very stress free a/con journey.The total oppisite to my old Xantia.Never wanted more power,pulled away from my Dad in his 136 bhp 407 a few times up hills.Could sit at 65 mph on cruise control,up most long hills in 5 th gear,even had to take my foot off the acc pedal a few times up hill
.Temp sat at 90 deg most of time,apart from going through the roof at 110 deg,down hill!!!A very long down hill in very windy conditions in S/Land through the mountains.Had to keep foot to the floor mostly in 4 the cause of the wind.About 34 deg in Italy with no rain out there:D
Now i read about floods etc.What have i missed
