You may be able to help her using Windows 'Remote Assistance' feature - which will enable you to operate your mother's computer from your own.
I've never used it at home but did have my terminal sorted at work - its most strange sitting there watching someone else operate he thing for you!

Ask her to phone nildram as they'll be able to talk her through the router settings and make sure everything is ok.

Could be the router's DNS table has filled/corrupted. Try rebooting it (power it off and on).
If you can get to the router's config screen then it would be better to set it to pass Nildram's DNS server IPs through instead of it's own.
