Damn you!!!!!!

I saw an advert about 4 weeks ago showing a Picasso for 7k, thats when I started to secretly hit the inside of the Fessa.

thats a cheap picasso.....though i have never liked picasso..... surely it would have been better to base the people carrier likely to be carrying lots of people on the xantia/c5 and give it proper suspension :D

I presume its the base model Picasso rather than the mid range Fiesta, but I would still prefer it.

Bigger, my fave manufacture, practical, just betterrrrrr

But there's always a downside- all that discounting has to be paid for somewhere, and depreciation wise a Fiesta will win every time.

It's in the resale-try and change a heavily discounted Picasso three years down the line and you'll get very little for it. If you want to keep it for only a couple of years then it'll only make financial sense if you buy one that's already a year or two old.

Only buy a new one if you plan on keeping it for seven or eight years at least.

very true my ex had a xsara 1.4 petrol that cost 9k new......5 years later with only 60000k on the clock she got £1500 part ex for it......

buy high mileage xantia's you know it makes sense!

Have any of you guys ever driven a ka?

They are just so much fun for chucking about on country roads - I hired one for a month when my wife was working abroad (with our car...) and thoroughly enjoyed it. (took me back to my mini days when I were a lad)

wouldn't buy one though - bloody awful on a long run
