2CV International, Berck sur Mer

Post by Jon »

A big Hi to everyone that said hello to me!
A truly great event, and a shame that me and the BX could not stay for longer. Heres some pictures of some 2cv boats. They used the standard 602cc lunp tilted 90 degrees, with dry sumping, extra oilcooler, turbos and intercoolers!

turbo mmmm
nargh turning citroens into boats isn't really anything new, im sure everyone has seen the ole CX that floats and drives! Then there is VW who build the VW Bug to be water tight, then come along and create the SchwimmenWagon what a waste when they already had a car that 'swam'!
but a Citroen BX that flys? No wyour talking! For those who HAVE seen Taxi (the proper film not the rubbish American one), the 406 can fly, why cant a Citroen?
I've seen LOADS of pics from the show and it looks really really fun to have been at! If no one else posts the link tot them then i'l do it tomorrow, for now, im off to bed!

It looks like they have watercooling jackets fitted as well!
I've seen the real ( luc besson ) taxi as well- never mind the cars, its the footpeg scraping moped stunt riding at the start that has me on the edge of the seat!!

What I should have taken a picture of was the 2cv fitted with BX 19D engine end on to GSA 5 speed box! The front of the car was about 7 foot long!
