26.1Kbps,
3.2Kbytes/sec.
Via an infra-red link to a GPRS mobile phone. Not bad.
9.4Kbps,
1.2Kbytes/sec.
Same infra-red link, but now on a Mobile Data call. Painfully slow.
Mainly because a mouse has chewed through the Cat5e cable from my traffic server, and I have to go into the loft tomorrow to change the cable, and lay a mousetrap. Normally 1Mbit!

I've got CAT5e running through the loft too, but no mice.
My mother complained about the coax ethernet cable and it was grey so when I replaced it with 2 blue cat5 cables she wasn't ecstatic.
