Anyone know where I can refill a bottle?
I've tried BOC but they want £56 a year rental and £44 to refill.[}:)][xx(][V]
Thanks

Try HSS (I think) - my mate gets his Oxy-Acetylene bottles exchanged there I think, and doesn't pay any rental...

Someone's a bit keen aren't they?
I've just had my annual bill for an X size cylinder. rental 36.25 + VAT 6.34
October 2004 price list for refil Argoshield (light & universal) 22.25 + VAT 3.98
BOC are lovely people to deal with - and charge a fixed charge of 9.30 + VAT for the privilege of collecting your order regardless of how many items.
For many years now you deal with agents - there is one near me in Southampton whose name I forget. From what I remeber I buy off them and get the bill from BOC later and they can't take the money or something daft.

You can use CO2 for mig welding, its much cheaper than argoshield if you buy it from a brewery.
