Citroen C4, Ugly?

Post by VTS »

Is it just me or is the C4 the one of the ugliest cars on the road?

Personally I think the're great. If I had the money/didn't have a garage full of cars I'd buy one.

IMO all cars that size are starting to get a bit boring, just like the mondeo's vectra's primera's did a few years ago, Admittedly there are some very sexy ones but the new focus/ astra seem like a step back[;)]

Isn't the new Astra and BMW 1 series the same car? They look the same to me, except I'd rather have the Astra. The BMW is just too ugly to go in the garage. As for the C4 I'm in the "I'd buy one " catergory. Test drove the 5 door and it was a really good drive.

I don't know what it is but something about the 1 series reminds me of a austin maestro, can't put my finger on it

What reminds you of the meastro will be the concave sides where the panels on side are styled curving in over.
I think the C4 looks a realy nice car (still not sure about rear of 3 door)
Have seen quite a few on roads.
More than new focus.

Any of you seen the new C6 yet? Another huge White Elephant courtesy of Citroën. That doesn't stop me wanting one. Just like all the other big Citroëns...
As for the C4, the 5 door is a bland as anything else and yes, the 3dr is ugly with the silliest back end since the Audi A2.
IMHO anyway. :-)

That C4 with the 3 doors has a very narrow rear window, but driving the rear view mirror view looks like any other spoty coupe / hot hatch. I've driven the 5 door 1.6 Sx (or simalar) well put together and went like stink. Not the usual thin Citroen plastic more quality interior plastics. When folk have gotten past the Citroen badge it'll become a regular sight in the roads but give it time.

I've seen two C4s on the road, both 3drs and think they look fantastic.
Vast improvement on the bug eyed late versions of the Xsara.

Well firstly, you can't say it isn't better than the Xsara!
It looks better from a distance however. I think it is the large door handles and slab sides that most new cars have these days that make is less distinguishable up close
