£45.00 WHAT CAN YOU GET FOR IT ?

Post by ACTIVE8 »

Well you can go to IKEA, and hope you survive the crowds, don't get a slap, and manage to get that sofa for £45.00 [:)]or as I spotted on ebay, you can get an Xantia:-
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 63720&rd=1
Strange thing is that "wallyminter" has not spotted this one yet ! [:D]
There are no bids on it at the moment !
Also the seller is thick or dyslexic as he will not get many views if he can't even remember how to spell Citroen.
I find it amazing that they manage to do everything, including maybe using HTML, and yet can't get the basics right, and come across as thick, maybe due to bunking off English lessons at school, or because thet are too lazy to use a spell check on their listing, apparently ebay even provides you with one.
Dare iz know poynt inn carming acroz az fic, bart tu meny du, and ite doz nort elp dee sail ov ann iteme iv u spill yor wurds lik dis ! [:D] [:D]
Ebay it's always fun to look at, for the items that are on sale, and how sellers attempt to communicate [:D] LOL [:)] to others what they are selling in their listing. [:D]

Is it just the way I'm looking at the photo, or does this car only have half a driver's door mirror? Looks like the same sort of damage as was done to mine, so I'll keep an eye on it to see if it sells and for how much - at least my engine still works...

If you look at the sellers feedback, and then click on the last item in it with the ebay item number of 5555109434 it's something he bought, then this might explain the problem with the bad spelling in the listing.
He has probably being playing too much with his purchase ! [:D]
Must have worn him out ! [:D] LOL [:D]

I agree with you the drivers door mirror has been damaged, the outer shell is damaged, and or missing completely.
Is this car near to where you are ? [:D]
It's miles away from me ! [:(]

No, it's quite a long way from me. Not interested in the car, just interested to see if it actually sells 'cos I've got one just like it (courtesy of a drunk driver), the main difference is mine is still a runner (well, sort of...). And the badge on the back of mine reads "Citröen"...

A petard yesterday.
You had to run up to the castle wall with this and light the fuse, against the wishes of the castle's occupants. If the people in the castle didn't get you the explosion probably would and you'd be hoist by your own petard.

I've seen much worse eBay listings than that.
I once saw an advert in an Escort window where every single word was wrong. I wish I'd photographed it.

Don't worry, Stuart - you will soon be able to take a degree course in ebayese [}:)].
Anyhow, you do not use Plain English* for mobile texts - this is textspeak whose users employ it for all written communication[:)]
*After all, text messages do not all start with 'basically', end with 'right' and are filled with 'like'
