Celebrity Citroens.

Post by bxbodger »

I see that Intelligent life has at last returned to Saturday night TV, Jonathan Meades is back ( Abroad again in Britain )- his last two series were done from his white XM-http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/mai ... port22.xml
Presumably he still has it, although he wasn't driving last night.
Does anyone know of any other celebrity Citroens?

Totally un-citroen, but car related, I went with the wife and kids to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the Palladium on friday- I thought I would hate it but now I really do believe that a car can fly!!!

Mr Dyson of vacuum fame used to run a complete fleet of hydro-cits at his company, mainly BXs and XMs (funny what you can pick up from waiting around in Citroen dealerships and reading the promo bumf).

Neilson was locked up in October 1983 - roughly the same month the BX was launched in the UK, so fairly unlikely !
