Is it too big for collect+ as that could be easier for them to drop off?

no its not to big for collect plus, and i did send the T*W*A*T a message asking if i sent him a collect plus postage label via email, if he could attatch it to the parcel and drop it of at his local Spar, he replied
"as soon as he gets his part he will send it from his local Post Office and will charge me what ever it costs"

stupid thing is his local/nearest P/O is a few doors along the same road the Spar/collect plus drop off store is on, so not only will it save me some dosh , it will take him no longer to drop it off at the spar store,

i dont know what his problem is

Well, his problem is that he's a T.W.A.T as you've already stated.

His other problem, which he hasn't yet worked out, is that should he require any more parts from you (I presume they were reasonably rare items), is that you're either going to charge him heftily over the odds, or simply refuse to sell them to him......

Unfortunately you get those idiots (both people and companies) who cannot accept when honest mistakes are made, or circumstances change what is possible. Several years ago (when we had the snow that caused over 2,000 car to be abandoned around Basingstoke) most of the clients we had to deal with were very understanding (Waitrose, for example, told us that if they saw an engineer they would be happy, but if not, they understood and would not invoke penalty clauses). However, Morrisons quoted the letter of the contract, and did invoke those clauses. Once things had settled down (weather wise, that is) all the engineers were given instructions to thoroughly inspect the suspect equipment on any Morrisons call prior to carrying out any work, and if the call could have been resolved by a technical phone call, to phone it in. Morrisons had a policy that, once the telephone had gone down on a fault logging call, they would NOT call the store back, but to call in their service company. Morrisons got hit by a lot of chargeable calls from then on in, and (as far as I am aware) we did not tender when the contract came up for renewal.

the parts im selling are NOS and quite often for current cars, but a lot cheaper than the dealer sell them for,

once thie is resolved whichever way it goes i will just block him purchasing out else from me thats for sure,

i can do without this type of customer

Hullo all, looking for somebody in or near Exeter to collect a piece of machinery for me and send it on its way to East Sussex. Any takers? If not, I might be heading that way & can collect & drop off items if needs be.

Steve, how come I'm not on the FCF listing?

If you asked to be on then I apologise, I have clearly forgotten to include you.
Will rectify that this evening.

Hopefully, weather permitting, I will be heading down from Aberdeenshire to Bulith Wells then to South East Birmingham before returning home around the 1st to the 9th February. If I can be of any help, let me know.

A post is probably best initially as it gives everyone a chance to leap in where willing.

This may be moved as it is open to all FCF members, not just the Citroen crowd :)
