That's a good thought Xac :)

John, understood. V6s don't run all that well on WVO :(

Malcolm, quite happy to collect and store for a while if that will help but I have no impending trips down your way planned unless you want some help getting your Xantia sorted John?

I don't think that it ever came to fruition Kev.

I did try to build one but lost the plot along the way. I think the best I got was to mark my meet point and tried sending an invite for someone else to add theirs and that's about as far as I got.

I'll try and dig it out again if there's enough interest or perhaps someone more software savvy would make a better job.

I found it again. Now let's see. How does this work?
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?hl=en& ... 50bf7&z=10

Can you please link and let me know if it worked or not?

It would be good if we could map out our own local areas that we would be willing to travel to. For those of us that make some long journeys occasionally (I go up Oxford/MK way a few times a year) it would be great if we could map out with our own colour where we are going and how much space/weight we have to carry any items.
If I get a bit of time this evening I'll have a scout around on the net for something

Good idea Kev :D

I do a regular run between MK and South Somerset via Devizes and can vary the basic route to suit...

Yes it works Mike.
You are the only recorded position on it though.
If you want to put mine in it is NE38 0PE.

I don't really have any regular runs but do travel to Bedford a couple of times a year.

Cheers Steve, if you send me your email, I can send you a collaborator invite - hopefully it'll allow you to create your own meet point and draw your coverage area - there are quite a few tools I've not had time to browse/trial.

Hi John,
Send me your email, I'll send you a collaborator invite then feel free to see if the tools are of any use to you - I don't have the time to explore and just did the least possible. Please have a look if you can spare the time.

If it's any help to anyone, I will be travelling from Sawtry to North wales (Bala) for a weekends full on kayaking in hopefully some very swollen rivers with big falls, YIPPEEEEE.

I will be taking the Xantia with only 2 on board with camping gear and kayaks on the roof, so plenty of room.

Regards
Martin.
