Please move this if it is in the wrong place.

When I am trying to solve an issue I look at various posts, as quite often a little snippet in one conversation makes sense with a snippet in another conversation, with the outcome of working out the solution without having to create yet another new post.

However, the above is fine but I would be nice to have the option to add a number of conversations to a virtual clipboard so you can keep them all in one place, I use the Pocket feature in Firefox at the moment which is not always available in different browsers.

Is it an easy addition to make to the forum?

I like that.
I have a little store of useful V6 posts offline but a forum feature would be better if it were possible.

Sounds like a good suggestion, if there isn't another workaround.

Agreed, a very good idea...

Could it be implemented as a sort of scratchpad?

I often open a Notepad (Windows) or whatever the basic text editor is in your favourite non-Windows OS is, for this very purpose ;)

There is a bookmark extension for phpBB. I will investigate and if it seems suitable for the purpose, we may give it a trial.

You should notice that we are trialling a Post Bookmaking feature on the forum. See: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=58653
I hope that this meets some of the needs expressed here.

Did you know that when you want to add a link when writing a post, you can just add your bookmark so link goes straight to the item and not the topic!! :-D =D> Re: New Forum Post Bookmark feature being evaluated
