Sending PMs

Post by sparksie »

Hi Guys

Some time ago, on the advice of several forumites, I tried to send a PM to a senior member.
Wondering why I had heard nothing back, I went looking, only to find the message still in my outbox.
I must have misunderstood how to send messages, though I still can't figure out how to do it, having just tried again with no results
Anybody know what might be going on?
Thanks guys
Sparksie

Hi Sparksie,

A PM will remain in your outbox until read by the recipient...

Therefore normal behaviour!

Send one to me as a test if you wish to see how it works in practice...

Ok
That restores my faith in my faculties, thanks.
I guess I'll just sit tight, then and hope for a response at some point.
Cheers

Oops
Sorry
The PM is Citroen related, but of course the subject of PMs is not!
To be honest, I rarely look anywhere except Citroen on FCF and am inclined to forget about the rest of the scene.
The Citroen part of the site is reminiscent of the old Pajero forum and the IWAI forum before PCness went mad.
I enjoy the contributions even when not relevant to my own situation and I'm strongly motivated to help in a way I don't experience with other sites.
I'll try to remember to follow the guidelines regarding subject matter!
(Though, to be fair, I got a very rapid response :) )
