New Year, new look? Something different...

For the FAQ how about 30% black in the off state
- orange when selected could be red instead?
Paul, I always use 1440 x 900 on my iMac widescreen format.
Thing is, everything's all stuffed over on the left for me though!
See this design malarkey can be very frustrating sometimes keeping
everyone happy - now that reminds me, there's a saying...

Xac.
It does look a lot nicer with the icon options below the masthead! Great!
I can see Paul-R's point about the blue text but the icons do kinda
stand out already - the blue subdued text isn't that bad really but
black 30-40%/greyed back text could look quite neat and less raw
than white...
...anyhow, what works for some doesn't for others as you say citroenxm.
I was thinking about not being able to keep everyone happy all of the time!
If you need a higher resolution of the masthead and separated marque icon
files just shout and I can email them to you or I do have an aborted 1Mb file
identical to the one in my original post here for photobucket that was kinda
HUGE!!

It's better but, being picky (and isn't that why we're all Citroenistes?) I would prefer it to be a shade lighter still.
Also, if you click on on one of the masthead options and then come back then hovering over that option no longer changes the colour. The orange is ok but it's a bit muddy brown to me. A bit more yellow would be better I think.

As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Apropos previous comments sub headings in the mast head could we have those in a more contrasting colour? it's o.k when you mouse over them but you have to be able to see them first to do that and a type size bigger would be nice as well for us old b**gers who have failing eye sight

Can we have the width reduced by 20 pixels and the weight reduced to about 14 kB like here ?
The page is a fraction too wide and 72 kB more than doubles the download time with steam internet.
The spellchecker just underlined ‘internet’ as a spelling mistake.
It should be written in uppercase, like the name of God.

The heading looks OK to me now but going down in resolution wouldn't hurt.
I was told that this was because it's not a generic term - there is only one Internet.
That's right - well, capitalised anyway.Clogzz wrote:The spellchecker just underlined ‘internet’ as a spelling mistake.

Do you want me to see if I can do a version upside down for our antipodean visitors too?
