climate con on 96 laguna

climate control works for 3-5 secs then cuts off and says service, i have had it regassed but has not solved problem any suggestion would be most grateful as its real hot in here at moment!![8D]

Iv'e got the same on my safrane, not sure if it's same control, but if after it's come up with the error I hold in Stop and both the - temp buttons for a few seconds it comes up with my error codes and I can go through them.
Mine says fault is "Engine Coolant Blower Motor Control - Fault Found", upon reading this, I checked, and sure enough, when I turn my system on it's not turning on the Rad fans as it did before.
Quite annoying due to it stopping the climate control working as a normal heater :@
Anyway, gives you somewhere to start.
If yours is the same and u can get it into that mode, contact me and I'll tell you how to go through and check the codes and what they mean.
From what I've read though, can't see an option for that on the Laguna, so it's into an A/C place to get it plugged in and see what's up with it.
