aircon smells when not moving

my aircon has a smell a bit like rotten eggs but only when im not moving when moving all is fine ive checked the drain underneath and that is running fine .
you can smell it around the pollen filter but it is not the filter and you can only smell it with the engine running
its a peugeot 405 td 1995 non cat
anybody have any ideas ??[xx(]

You wouldn't have sprung a leak in your heater matrix by any chance and might be smelling stale coolant that has found it's way under the carpets?

thanks for the reply but ive sorted it now it was the washer bottle really dirty inside i just cleaned it out and the surrounding area all fine now
