Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

Hi everyone,
Two years ago I was forced to change rear hydraulic pipes on my ’09 x7 2.2HDi cause one of them leaks. Whereas the pipes was unavailable to buy here I decided to create substitute from original. I was working on it with my colleague. We tested almost 10 pairs during last year and half and we can now manufacture them for C5 X7

What is more important is to know whether your VCI (the hardware that plugs into the OBD socket) is full chip and has Rev C chip firmware. Also, what software are you using? Lexia is probably too old even for a 2009 X7 and you need Diagbox. What version of Diagbox are you running?

Hi,
I have recently had the injectors replaced on the above vehicle, however, since replacement, 2 clamps have since snapped.
I have now ordered a complete set of 4 from my local Citroen agent plus matching bolts.
Has anyone else suffered this issue, is it an easy job for a relative novice to replace these at home.

Sounds a bit sketchy, i'm guessing all they are doing is mapping the ECU to ignore & block all fault codes relating to the SCR system, the system may still work but if it did stop working you would have no idea that it has stopped working as if the system is not working it wont display any errors. Hi everyone,

Recently bought myself a 2019 Relay 2.0 HDI 130 to convert myself to a camper.
It has 182k miles and was fleet owned but pretty straight/clean with good service record.
I've done about 500 miles in it since I picked it up and about 250 miles since owning P0087 and P0093 codes for fuel pressure low/leak codes have come on.

After wasting a couple of hours trying to repressurise the C5 X7 I have failed to achieve the intended task. So can someone advise the Diagbox menu steps to repressurise the hydraulics. I will be eternally grateful.

I’m about to bite the bullet and make up copper brake pipes for my 2001 berlingo. But need some info please
Copper or copper n nickel ? And what size nuts ? M10 x 1 ?
Lots for sale on eBay, but I don’t want to crawl under the van and find I’ve bought the wrong stuff.

Well, more failure to report !
I paid a bit more for the pipe and tried out the ‘on-car’ flaring tool. The pipe looks very brassy coloured, but certainly stronger than plain copper. Followed instructions on YouTube for flaring tool which worked well on first trial. But a second flare failed miserably and the thread on the tool just stripped out....

My mechanic is struggling to access information about the connections between the BSI and ECU.
My van is completely dead and he thinks that the BSI is Unable to communicate with the ECU, possibly due to a wiring fault.

Hi I have a 2016 PureTech 1.0 edition when I’m at work and go home I start it and get the blue coolant light. Hi everyone,
I own a 2015 Citroen C5 with a DV6C e-HDi diesel engine. I need to replace the alternator, but I'm having trouble choosing the right one.
According to the catalog using my VIN, the correct part number is 5705PA, but alternators with that part number are unusually expensive. Does anyone know why? Are there any alternatives?

Yes^, they're expensive for a reason, as they do more than a standard alternator and as you will have the older Stop & Start system, it will be important to fit the correct one or purchase a reconditioned one.

A brand new one is about £1.8k but a reconditioned one is just under half that.

Whilst checking Fred over I found LHM leaks again. 1 at the rear, possibly the height corrector (changed it for a secondhand one last year), and 1 from from the pipe that goes from LHM tank to pump (couple of years old and made of horrible metal weaved-covered pipe). Shouldn't be too much trouble, except I lent on the coolant 3 way pipe/ pressure...

Hello,

Hope someone can help, the rear doors on citroen dispatch 15 plate won't open, all the other doors open and lock but the rear door latch is stuck.
Won't open with central locking or manually with key ? Tried l to move latch from inside with a screwdriver but won't budge.
Is there a way to release from the inside?

Any help greatly...

Hi I’m not sure if I’m on the right part to ask a question about my Citroen C3. I’m not very good with things online. I have a 2014 Citroen C3. The EML came on 5 weeks ago. The RAC said I needed a new lambda sensor so took to garage and had this done. 2 days later light came on again and RAC said my spark plugs were broke so paid for 3 new ones....

Am I right in thinking this trim comes away from the main bumper? If so does it come away without removing the entire rear bumper first? Also does this section from a C4 Picasso also fit or is the Grand Picasso unique? Thanks

If you jack it up you can remove the underlay which may then allow you to reach up the back of the radiator and spring the bonnet catch. But you should be able to manually unlock the doors with the key to get access?

The power gremlins have arrived for Xmas. Many threads on this subject so to say it’s not uncommon is an understatement. In a nutshell the power and nippiness have been noticably reduced to the point of frustration when considering overtaking. I have checked the usual suspects with the help of past threads,

Hi!

I have a problem with my Grand C4 picasso 2012 1.6 ehdi.

First I had P1A9C code and I replaced the start stop capacitor. But the problem presists.

I received new error code. P1AA0 and I dont understand what is the problem?

P1A9C is not present, now I have P1AA0 code.

Somebody can what the problem is.

I wonder if anyone can give me links to high def. photos of the 'dark side' of this engine- that is the are around the EGR cooler, injector common rail and the fuel pump.
I am in the process of a rebuild, and not having the where with all to lift the engine out, the job is being done in situ.

Hi

On my K9 2019 1.5 blueHDI 130, with 36200miles we started getting emissions problems. Starting at the beginning of February. In the past 2 months Citroen have replaced the Adblue injector, downstream NOx sensor, forced regen of DPD. It faulted again so they carried out a software update. Then again a week later so they replaced the Adblue tank...

Maybe they haven't reset the Adblue counter correctly - but doing forced regenerations on the DPF is totally useless - the DPF system has zero to do with the SCR system for a start and nothing to do with the countdown message.

Apart from anything else, undertaking repeated forced regeneration is no good for the engine or components as the vehicle...

Citroen c3 picasso.

Why did i do it. Well needed abit more room but not massive ammounts so this was my choice
2012 1.6hdi. New clutch last Jan 2022. Plenty of service history and under 90,000 miles .

Bad points.
Back fog light cracked car park marks
Warning on dash after 90 mile drive
Engine oil pressure high stop engine
This then came on...

So in the game of leakage whack-a-mole, I noticed another little oil dribble under a different spot of my 2011 C5 X7 today.

It appears to be around the spring? going into the right rear caliper, the left one shows no sign of leaking. If anyone has an insight into where this might be coming from would be much appreciated.
