So in the game of leakage whack-a-mole, I noticed another little oil dribble under a different spot of my 2011 C5 X7 today.

It appears to be around the spring? going into the right rear caliper, the left one shows no sign of leaking. If anyone has an insight into where this might be coming from would be much appreciated.

This is just an open query, and perhaps not enough to justify a thread but there may be opinions ..

Has anyone managed to reduce the noise level of an HDi, either by noise-absorbing material in the engine bay, or some kind of mod? Are some parts of the drivetrain particularly noise generating and amenable to silencing?

Recently bought myself a 2019 Relay 2.0 HDI 130 to convert myself to a camper.
It has 182k miles and was fleet owned but pretty straight/clean with good service record.
I've done about 500 miles in it since I picked it up and about 250 miles since owning P0087 and P0093 codes for fuel pressure low/leak codes have come on.

Just curious if someone already changed the oil seal from injection pump on RHH engine. The pump code is 9424A050A and is known that oil from the engine is dropping on the antifreeze hose coming from the water pump and in time that hose will break. I know that there is also a service bulletin with this issue.

Am I correct in believing I should only use Citroen or total LDS fluid or are others available?

The XUD crank is used in the 1868cc DW8 normally aspirated diesel. (501H1). The DW8 is really an XUD with a bit of a makeover!
However the 1997cc HDi uses a different crankshafts, 501E2 without rollers, or 501E3 with.
XUD, DW8 and HDI do all use the same crank bearings.
