Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

Hi, I've replaced the coolant housing it was leaking like a sieve.

The manual refers to the bleed valve pictured below, but when looking at my car, I don't seem to have one.
The heater is blowing cool so I'm convinced the system isn't full.

any ideas on my next move?

My iPhone 11 says it can be charged wirelessly (Wireless charging (works with Qi chargers10)) and the owners manual says the car charges a compatible device. But I don’t seem to have this facility. Should it come with all models, (2023 C4 C-Series)? And how do I find out? Is there something in the settings to activate it?

Hi
I have a 2008 Citroen C2, 1.4L and recently changed the battery in the key fob. Now the central locking is not working. I have tried putting the key in the ignition, turning the key whilst hitting the open button on the fob, but no joy.

Any thoughts on what to try next?

Sit in the car, close the doors and press the door lock button on the dash. If the doors lock and unlock the problem is in the fob. If they don't, is it lock or unlock that doesn't work? If it doesn't work at all, check the fuse.

Hi, I have 'problem case' C3, 2011 1.6 non-turbo prince engine. Originally it had a 5FS engine that died, I purchased it and transplanted a 5FW (yep...and mucked around installing the controlled oil pump...working fine). Once warmed up, it drives/idles superbly, but when cold starting although it fires into life, it gets stuck in a unstable loop...

I would expect that there is an atmospheric sensor, maybe part of the throttle assembly.

The oil pressure readings do seem strange. I think that it would be worth checking the 5V reference voltage that goes to the sensors, and check that it is not fluctuating.

Interested to know if anyone has had any luck claiming out of warranty on this issue.

It seems to be a fundamental design flaw.

I’ve been told as my car is a 2015 and not maintained by a Citroen service history they aren’t interested.

Frustrated doesn’t cut it, having spent £4k on repairs in 18 months on genuine perishables.

Just want to confirm that I have read the owners manual properly regarding automatic release of the electric parking brake. Yeah, I had p1350 and 1350 I now only have p1350 I discovered a rusted earth point behind the right side of the front bumper cover and cleaned it up which got rid of the p1351 so maybe it's an actual fault on these caused by a bad earth. So a partial win. Thanks for your help by the way.

Trailered home yesterday after the clutch went tio the floor and stayed there -- much unhappy as I did the lot just 8k miles ago. Air can only enter the system in the plumbing between the reservoir and the pump.

The usual culprit is the hose from the reservoir especially at the ends. Rarely it is the pump or the pickup tube in the reservoir.

Are the fuel level sensors on Citroens of this sort of age likely to be completely unreliable?

I filled up with diesel today. The low fuel warning light was on, but the tank would only take 40 litres, which means there must have been 20 litres in there!

Yes.
Even if you were to install new airbags without changing the ECU it would not deploy the airbags. you would just get airbag errors & the airbags would not deploy. once the ECU deploys the airbags it gets 'locked'

Dear colleagues,

I am about to change the auto box oil in my C5 X7 3.0 HDi from 2013. Based on service.citroen.com is the proper oil AW-1 (i.e. JWS 3324). I read here in the forum that for the EURO-4 engines the oil was JWS 3309 and for the EURO-5 the mentioned JWS 3324. Althought this was apparently for the same gearbox.

What are the fault codes? Is it highlighting a specific cylinder?
The VTS has separate individual ignition coils for each cylinder which is normally the most likely culprit.

Hi All, I am having an issue with my C5 X7. The glow plug light won't go out unless I start the engine. So far scanned her with diagbox P1350 and P1351. Ran the activation program and the relay was clicking on and off. Tested the resistance on the glow plugs and 0.00 to 0.01 ohms so at a loss. Tried refitting ECU fuse box and the relay itself....

Closing the drivers door triggers a door locking event unless the keys are in the ignition or... the dashboard lock button has been pressed, extinguishing the light.
From outside the car when it's locked, using the physical key to unlock works until the key is released back to the centre position...

So today I finally have all the locks on our C3 Picasso doing what they should (TBF, it was only the LR that was broken)
Everything locks, deadlocks, unlocks etc and all the doors sense 'open' properly.

Hi All,

My 2022 Dispatch 2.0 HDI 145 LWB has 7000 miles. The gearbox is tight to shift gears and crunches occasionally in second when cold. I am goingto replace box oil. Can anyone advise the gearbox oil capacity and recommended type? (there was no owners manual with the van)

Hill start assist works fine in all conditions and has nothing to do with the Stop Start, just how you use it. There are other factors that are taken into consideration as to how HSA is operated, including the state of the pedals, the incline etc and is handled by the ESP system.

Hi, I have a 2017 Dispatch which is one of the top models with electric sliding doors, keyless ignition etc. I'm having an intermittent problem that the van does not recognise I'm in the vehicle with the key. I have replaced both batteries in both keys and it makes no difference which key i have. Each key will open the van remotely every time...

I would like to change the engine oil in my C3 Aircross March 2019 and have been given the choice of FPW9.55535/03 (up to RPO 16885) and PSA B71 2010 (from RPO 16886) but I cannot find the RPO number for my vehicle. The last 8 digits of the VIN are K4141400. Could anyone assist me please.
