My first post here.
I hope someone can help with a big problem I have with our car.
The ABS computer/controller has become defective and needs repair/replacement.
The real problem is that the ABS pump is right at the back of the engine and I cannot see how on earth to get it out short of removing the engine!.
I would prefer for a garage to do the work but they are not prepared to fit a second hand part because they cannot guarantee it.
A new pump (complete) with controller is over 1000€ and then there is labour on top of that.
So I would really appreciate any advice as how to proceed.
