I really wouldn't bother with that one - far too cheap and probably inferior quality. If you read through that thread, cleaning it won't always work - it's a mechanical part and can wear out - better to just replace the thing with a half decent one if you can - you can try a cheap one but don't expect it to last as long as an original.

There’s another one here that is complete with the loom

http://www.eurocarcare.net/switches-rel ... -loom.html

Or here

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-C2-C ... 1579819172

I gave you the part number in a previous post, so have a look around, but I really would avoid the really cheap ones.

mikal the brake pedal and arm etc will not be seen on the passenger side of a rhd, what you will see is the bar that runs from the drivers side to the passenger side.
remove the carpet trim that is under the glovebox that covers the gap between the floor carpet and glovebox, that should allow you to see the bar that runs from drivers side to passenger side and the brake switch should be visable as per the diagram posted.
On my C4 it is a similar set up and the switch is looking at you saying here i am :)

Cheers your lordship. LOL. On mine theres a plazzy trim where your toes would be if sitting down. Bit of a bugger turning and stretching your head. Might try a mirror. Cheers

If you are changing the brake switch, be aware there are 2 types of switch, one that has to be manually set and one that automatically adjusts at fitting.

I can't tell you why there are 2 types, but the part number is 453467.

One has to be manually set and the automatic one self adjusts once fitted. The part number above may also come with a modified loom - as can be seen from Euro Car Care:
ECC Brake Switch.PNG
I don't have the reason why the loom may be supplied and what this is for exactly - that may be a question for the dealer who may be able to answer it for you - as there could be a Technical Service Bulletin detailing the reason.

I thought it worth a mention before you embark on it yourself!
