Configuring RD45 via Lexia

Post by Jaguarr »

Hello all
So I've bought RD45 replacement for the old RD4 to support BT music and phone in my Grand Picasso C4 2013.
I was able to configure the radio to work well (added the VIN to the radio using Lexia).

However, i can't see any option to enable the screen for adding Bluetooth menu.... as far as I know, I have screen type c and it should support but I can't find the option to do so in Lexia (I've gone line by line of any components and didn't find it...)

can someone guide me where it should be?

Attached pic of my display

Thanks !!

From what I gathered when I did the same upgrade, I had to make sure the software version of the new screen was at least v.70

I've never seen a screen in the Picasso, but it appears to be a EMF-C embedded in a gauge cluster. If the EMF-C is still accessible separately in Lexia, then you will need to activate the handsfree options ,amongst others, to match the feature set of the RD45.

Same problem here...
Maybe the counter has one of the first software Sw 7.1.
New versions are 8.1 and 9.3 (2009-2010)
7.1 shouldn't have bluetooth and hands free icons.

Jaguarr did you have find a solution with lexia?

Ciao from Italy

If I remember correctly, on the 308 you need to also enable bluetooth hands-free (either in the BSI or screen configuration, I dont remember which) as if the earlier Nomad hands-free was fitted, so that the bluetooth screen display was enabled.
