Hmmmmmm, new one on me - but then a little off my manor. Only ever been to one of these "close the town for the show" events & that was in Kingman,AZ (yup, that's the place, the one that gets a namecheck in Route 66) & it was amazing, like going back in time!

Still, nothing on over Easter - & the Eldorado could do with a run, if only I can cure that manic n/s indicator! Failing that, I could just go as a visitor which would mean racking up a lot of miles in the C15 ('though probably at no greater cost than the round trip from Torbay in the Eldo.). have to see how I get on this w/e.

The predicted weather spoiled the attendance this year but it actually stayed dry although a bit miserable cloudy and chilly.

I didn't go myself for the first time in years.

My going was all part of some great plan (the details of which allude me already) which the weather brought to nought - AND, it was a lot of travelling on the off-chance it would be a nice day.

I'm not usually in the country at Easter, but if I am again next year - & with a bit more notice - I might well give it a go.
