Isle of Wight International Classic Car Show 2017

Post by Deanxm »

The above titled event is held this year on the 16th and 17th of September over two sites (Newport quay saturday 16th and Ryde esplanade sunday 17th)
I sponsor part of this event and have attended for many years, it is a very good show with a very big flaw, NO CITROENS!!! there was a DS there once and the odd 2CV but i would like to bully the organiser, Vic Gallucci into admitting a few old citroens, i would like to get something a bit different in there, some performance Citroens and some real rare vehicles with the wow factor (Vic loves a bit of wow factor) and they really need to be over 20 years old unless special.

Travel on the ferry is discounted and entry is free by prior registration but you will have to sort yourselves out other than that, its not much but its a great car show and if nothing else you get free parking for the weekend.

Anyone interested let me know, my car looks a bit lonely on its own

Dean, don't know if you saw this on "Pictures of the Day" but I think this little combination would fit the bill for you, and the gentleman is an FCF Member...if you manage to get the famous French Accordion Player Yvette Horner as well that would be quite a coup!

I must try and make that.....I think a phone call to a relatives son may be in order regarding ferry costs.
