Electric Cars-Adverts

Post by NewcastleFalcon »

Have you seen any Electric Car adverts?

Nice choice of music for this one of the Zoe from Renault, but not a patch on their nostalgic yuppie ads for the Renault 25 back in the day :-D

Well this advert for the Renault Zoe, certainly isn't shy about quoting the NEDC range figure.

Yes the Zoe can get to the International Space Station on one charge :!: :!: :-D

Well the e-Mahari may be a fun car but that first advert was absolutely awful. Then again I don't think I fit into the category they are trying to sell it too :-D

No youtube embedding but this article if you page down has a selection of the "top submissions" for TESLA's fan made commercials competition. One of them shamelessly rips off the Renault Fluence ad!

Ahem....it is also a youtube playlist! Put it on shuffle and see if you like any!

Here's the one loosely based on the Renault Fluence ICE dig of 5 years ago.

First advert up for the Opel Ampera-e 2017. Haven't found one for the Chevy Bolt yet.

Artistically, my opinion, uninspiring. On the other hand the Nissan Leaf little story of Hiro the DJ...miles ahead, and to be honest, after seeing the Leaf 2020 presentation, cars with steering wheels begin to look a bit old-fashioned.

EV Adverts still thin on the ground? Have manufacturers forgotten how to market and sell cars?

Discovered that the Bolt advert isn't actually a GM one but one made by a "fan"!

This is a weird one for a Kia Soul EV, don't quite get it but hamsters seem to feature in their campaign for some reason!

Yes dont watch much TV but I do make my excuses I am a bit of a Frazier fan so guess what appeared this morning in the Adverts.....

The first electric car advert I have ever seen on Television :-D

Here it is...What Car's "Car of the Year" 2018 (yes there are a lot of categories now!) the New Nissan Leaf. Marketing of Cars these days doesn't feature on the "vital statistics" of a car but on the "experience", the "lifestyle" and other such things.

I've seen that ad several times, Neil, and each time I'm left wondering how self-parking cars cope with real parking spaces as the one demonstrated in the ad is far more generous and clearly defined than any I've had to use. ie, typical supermarket. Will we see "traffic chaos" as everyone's self-parking cars get in a muddle trying to cope with reality?
