Due to excessive server loading caused by some badly behaved 'bots' (automated content collectors), I have changed the anti-ddos settings on the site to be much more aggressive.

This has had the desired effect of reducing the server loading from 100% to about 10% (the other 90% was coming from just 8 IP addresses located in China).

Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

Hi all, newbie here. Great forum.
Right, now to give everyone a big headache!
2016 Berlingo L2 1.6Hdi.
DPF light started coming on, eventually went into limp mode. Stripped the exhaust down, thorough clean of cat and dpf with Wynns off-car cleaner. Dried them out completely. Got my Launch X431 Pro Elite diagnostic and reset the DPF soot values....

I'd run it loose / off first, but it seems likely it's no good. You won't necessarily get a code for external temp, but if the dash reading is blank it can stop the DPF regenning.

As summary from earlier post, I was on holiday in the West of Scotland (1,900 miles trip in total).

C5 2007 Power Steering Faulty

In a 2007 C5 Hdi 2.0 I have 'Power Steering Faulty' showing up with heavy steering, so I assume the pump isn't firing up. Lexia diagnostics tells me 'No Communication with ECU' with the electro pump ECU.

When I back-probe the com lines at the electro pump ECU I can see the signal below, so I don't know if perhaps I have a bad ECU or if the BSI is...

BSI Reset, Peugeot Expert. I've read the Sticky post by Marc, but my battery is in the footwell, driver side.

I'm trying to diagnose a rear door (Tailgate) locking issue. I think it's mechanical problem, but I can't figure it out so wondering if a BSI reset might cure it?

Any idea how to do it when the battery is inside the cabin?

This is a silly question because I've done a silly thing. I did a 2 hour round trip to buy a set of wiper motors for my X7 C5, the guy let me test them on the car, they didn't work so I left them. Now I'm realising I had the motors on the wrong side, now the guy is a 3hr return trip away.

It's because one of the motors contains the master ECU (Right) and the other contains the slave ECU. So these have to be connected correctly as they are multiplexed wipers, otherwise they will not communicate over the network.

I'm using DiagBox 9.68 running in a virtual machine.

loud wind noise in the cockpit C5 2010 3 litre diesel

As of yesterday I now have a loud wind noise which develops at speeds over about 40 km . It appears to have something to do with cockpit air pressure because as soon as i wind a window down the noise disappears.
It seems to be coming from under the dash board towards the left hand side of the car.

Because it's unhealthy to breathe in stale exhaled air and carbon dioxide - especially in a confined space, so it's set to switch back to fresh outside air after a few minutes. I only ever use recycled setting in extended traffic jams in a city, but thankfully that's never an issue where I live in the mountains. :)

Looking for some advice Citroen Relay went into a local garage for a maf sensor fault performance degraded
It was found that two of the leads that run the maf sensor had corroded and had broken off from the plug

I took mine out the other day. Pig to get at if screws are rusted and rounded off.
Sensor is located just to the left side and below the air filter box. In the image you can see the sensor with the clip removed. Only held in by screws. I also had to replace my clip and spluced into the original wiring loom.

Is there a way to check the genuine total mileage for the 2005 C5 through Lexia? In our country, it's an everyday practice to lower the mileage of any older (or newer, if they are high mileage) car to an eye-watering 200000 km.

I bought mine two years ago with around 220000 km, but I doubt it was that low mileage for a 2005 car. I mean...

Ideally a BCI clone (often ref erred to as a Lexia Kit) that contains the Diagbox software and is a clone of what the dealers use for Citroen, DS and Peugeot.

Having said that, make sure you get a FULL Chip Revision 'C' unit with full hardware - if not you will only have wasted your money. In the UK, these will be anywhere over £100-£140....

I’ve recently bought an interface, believed to be genuine by the seller. I was supplied a DVD but it was scratched up and unable to read contents. Just to clarify that part regarding Internet: It is essential that the Network Hardware Adapter is active and enabled, but that NO active Internet Connection is available, so make sure any WiFi networks you may usually connect to are not set to 'Automatically Connect' so it cannot connect to a WiFi network.

Although the sound seems like it's coming from the turbo and the turbo shaft has quite a bit of play, and the blades have seen some damage, I don't see a fault code for it. You'll have to go inside the unit and have a look at the boards. Take a look at the photos in these links for examples of good and not so good boards.

If your unit is full chip (and preferably with the 10k resistor) then it may be good enough for your C5. Being Rev C is a different question and you would have to use a program to interrogate...

I am dealing with a bit problematic C3. It is 1.4 HDi 2005 car after FL and app. 250kkm.
Problem being - engine has no power. It can barely move on leveled ground in 1st gear, no way of getting it uphill.
Revs up to 4000 rpm but has no power.

When cold it will not run without additional gas pedal pressing (keeping it over 1000 rpm). After app....

Hi I have a 2012 3008 1.6 diesel it has had engine replacement but now won't start it cranks ok and fuel is getting to the filter and injectors the only fault I can find is fuel pressure to low on start up is there something I am missing?

Having done one of 3 atf fluid changes it's probably time to buy lexia / diagbox as I want to look at spheres and a rear damper too at some point.
I've been looking at the Easydiagnostics website and assume that I need the Lexia3 diagnostic kit as opposed to Citroen Peugeot Lexia, PP2000, Diagbox version 9.68.

Is the latter just an updated...

I've got it working!!...

I used an uninstaller and cleaner..
Extracted lexia and pp2000 into c:\temp.. selected every relevant file and unblocked security in properties..
cable out
sleep off
WiFi off (no automatic connect)
firewall off
windows security off/low
Firefox security off/low

wouldn't talk to my cable but updated to v7.58 and worked ok...

I have just joined the forum after buying a 59 plate C3 Picasso 4 weeks ago, from a garage in Swindon about 90 miles from where i live in South Somerset, it drove OK no problems with the engine, went through all the traffic problems around Bristol and down the M5 and home was pleased the way it drove.

Ok, different car but this used to happen to the mk2 ford galaxy diesels when driving up or parking on a hill,slope, it was a turbo thing, and when you go back a bit further there's an egr, so it might be worth getting the turbo looked at or tested & the egr cleaned. Ok so you don't have an independent telematic unit, but the NAC Head Unit would not be connected to a separate battery. It is just powered from the main car battery.

It may be that you have wiring there for a telematic unit, but it is not fitted.
