Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

Is there a way to check what Sat Nav hardware is on my car?

So it could help me find some potential problems with it, firmware updates or other useful information.

Problems I have:
1) Sat Nav keeps rebooting often.
2) Bluetooth connection is bad. Sound from phone keeps lagging or no sound at all.

Been plucking up the courage for a year to try the mirascripts repair for my SD card but every single line seems counter intuitive so I have to wonder whether it's even referring to my RT6 unit? I have seen units with SD card slot at the front. Mine is inside

All vehicles with an RT6 have a USB port on the vehicle.

If you have an SD card slot on the front of the Head Unit, then you don't have an RT6, you have a MyWay system.

Look closely at the pictures in the main index of the telematics Forum here:

Yesterday everything was still working and today the colour multifunction display remains black .

Hello,

I have Citroen c5 2012 with RT6 player (I think it's RT6). When playing music from phone, there's very very big latency in audio (on phone music shows playing, but car will start to play in about 1-2sec.)
No problems with phone calls.
Using with iPhone.
What could cause this problem?

That's generally always a good idea, but no guarantees this will be any better.

My thinking here is that if you pat the dealer to update it for you via diagnostic time, and the unit resets, then they will have to get it back to operating state for you.

It's a risk, but also a choice, so as long as you're aware of the possible outcomes.

You don't have the correct electrical harness most likely as telematics units are configured differently to the RD systems. Plus there will be other options that need telecoding using Diagbox before the unit will work correctly, apart from the VIN.

If you've run the Mirascript utility, it will have copied the relevant files that it can, barring any read or corruption issues. That's all you can do. These are not large files.

Hi all,

I just bought a used 2014 Peugeot 3008. Initially I didn't realise that the headunit was faulty because the radio, camera etc seems to be working fine.

There's no point in cloning a non-functioning card as you'll just be copying the corrupt data.

If it's not too bad, you may be able to copy the user data files for later restoring onto a new card.

3008 (2013) radio stopped working

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help.
My radio stopped working, along with, nav, parking sensors etc. The slot makes a sound like it wants to eject, every 10 seconds. The screen is also blank. I've tried a reset by pressing the eject for 10 seconds, the screen moves forwards and then back once.

I've checked all fuses etc and nothing.

I've searched...

Hi all,
this thread is my last hope to get my radio back to life.

My problem: After something like Insert Navigation CD while driving my screen went black at the next restart of the car.
After trying every first options (check cables, disconnect system, restart with eject button) i ordered a new 16 GB Micro SD and got some firmware to install....

For anyone with the same problem getting to this thread. My last hope and at the same time the solution to this problem was to buy the original firmware 2.86 via Ebay for 15€. It worked on the old SD card with the first try, what i have tried first before replacing it with a new card.

Its kinda strange, since i have tried a lot of versions on USB...

Hey there, i hope you all doing well, i have a Citroën C4 (B7) 2014 with a non-touch screen anyway, recently i was trying to connect a FAT32 USB flash drive but unfortunately there's nothing happens, the port is working fine because i charge my phone using it, but it can't read or recognize a flash drive BTW the flash drive i'm using is working...

After I have update my map, I got a screen who is green and show the level over see.
I't ask for Installations CD, I have installed the cd whit out any changes.

That's a hardware issue and installation of the maps won't make any difference. It's likely the graphics chip is dying, so time to start looking for a replacement / repair.

If you go to Peugeot, they will charge you the equivalent of £120 for a diagnostic. They will be able to run some tests that may confirm the hardware fault.

I have installed in one of my previous posts an RNEG2 in my C5(x7) , updated to 2.86 and new maps. All are ok even Bluetooth streaming and phone calls sound excellent, but.... sometimes the radio will not start or it takes a 5mins or so to boot up. I have reinstalled no problem every time. I have attached a txt file from Mirascript RT6_READCFG....

Hello,
My RT6 system on my Peugeot 508 sw 2012 is rebooting every few minutes, which leads me to believe that the firmware-SD card is corrupted. I managed to fish out the config for my car (user_4.dat, user_com.dat and user_config.dat) using Mirascript. Because the CD-drive is broken, i have to use the USB port to flash the firmware onto the RT6....

There isn't any other reset that I'm aware of and nothing in the RT6 manual unlike some of the other head units that do have a system reset option in the system settings.

Just bought a 2013 DS5 hybrid and having a few issues with the entertainment system.

Whenever I start the car, it asks me to insert the navigation system cd. I can change to radio etc but it does it each time I start the car. And sometimes it doesn't always happen straight away.

I suggest you have a read of this thread regarding replacing the MicroSD card first of all. It is the cheapest solution (the cost of a MicroSD card and your time) and may fix your problem.

Maps are from 21 and I think I read somewhere in this forum that it should show altitude if not then it’s communication issue, but nothing is showing up on that screen.
